Modules overview

Module 1: Types of social innovation businesses and the social innovation
entrepreneur profile

After the completion of this module, learners are expected to look into social entrepreneurship,
social initiatives, and motivations. They should be able to analyse the forms of social
businesses in the market while evaluating the behaviours of social entrepreneurs. Lastly, they
are expected to explore current businesses to get inspired, while understanding if a certain
social initiative can be an opportunity for themselves.

Module 2: Key competences of social innovation entrepreneurs

After the completion of this module, learners are expected to know the range of competences
necessary for successful engagement in social entrepreneurship. They should also have
acquired the capability to assess the comprehensive requirements for support, networking, and
funding within the realm of social entrepreneurship competences.
